Comedian/Author and playwrite Johnny Tait is making a positive move to bring variety back to the theatre, with his new show ‘Factor 2025.’
Following the success of his debut novel ‘Conscience’ which was adapted to a well received play Tait is hoping to attract a wide audience with his new venture.
Having already received critical acclaim in theatre’s in Hertfordshire and Sussex ‘Factor 2025’ is moving to London’s west end for a one off showing on Saturday February 7th at the world famous Leicester Square Theatre.
The year is 2025 and the set is a television studio during the initial audition stages of a failing TV talent show. What lengths will the show producer go to in order to revive his once high in the TV ratings show?
We open up with Burlesque troupe ‘The Scarlet Vixens’ then bouncing on stage is TV warm up man the larger than life colourful comedian Paul Traynor.
Then as the storyline unfolds a variety of acts that are currently working the circuit perform in front of the cynical manipulative producer played by Tait himself.
Amongst the many acts appearing are established comedian and Mrs Doubtfire impersonator Adrian Doughty. We are also treated to the comedy talents of Marcus Gibson. Look out for a cameo appearance from actor turned cage fighter Alex Reid.
Among the vocalists we have Podge Blacksmith who has made a name for himself on the rock scene and new girl on the cabaret circuit Victoria Burrough.
‘Factor 2025’ is a cynical and humorous take on T.V talent shows which climaxes with a twist that you will not see coming.
