Well folks that is it. The end of the chaotic summer season over in the blink of an eye. I must say I have seen plenty of quality entertainment to suit everyone. The summer maybe over but it is not yet time to give my liver a rest as we still have some amazing entertainment appearing until the end of October.

So September has started with some impact in Towyn seeing Hayley-Ria Christian making a welcomed return to the Long Bar, The Brothers Kay rocked the Morton Arms which resulted in a mega hangover for me, Sunnys Bar had the first appearance of Phil Collins Tribute by Deano, Golden Gate had the brilliant Kate Bell and Michelle Lawson. Looking ahead for the next few weeks in Towyn Harry Cambridge aka Mr Luther Vandross makes a welcomed to the Morton Arms after storming his first appearance also returning this month is the fabulous Chevy Bel Air Band, Asa Murphy makes his long awaited return to the Long Bar, Lyons Winkups and Oakfield are holding Motown weekends. Lyons Robin Hood will be holding a star night with Rai Elle the young X-factor star. The one I am waiting for though is the first appearance of Ray Lewis from the Drifters who will be wowing the audience on their end of season party at the Morton Arms.

Moving down to the Cheshire Border Saltney Ferry club recently held another successful night of The Legends Show, Ewloe Social will be holding 2 star nights first with Comedian Mike Sealy and the Dynamics Party Trio and secondly BGT Finalist Kathleen Jenkins and young comic Jack Ryan will follow. Over to Wrexham now and Brymbo Sports have a few events heading their way with ticket nights for The Big Beat party band, Tribute to the Temptations and Diana Ross and lastly Spirit of the 80’s Party band.

To the local theatres now. Rhyl Pavilllion Theatre has a variety to offer over the next few weeks with The Beach Boys Story, Tribute to the Moody Blues, Roy Chubby Brown and The Guvnor Mr Cambridge will be performing with his live band. Venue Cymru Llandudno will be holding BBC Proms in the Park with headline Artiste Katherine Jenkins, G4 will be stopping by on their tour, Faith the Legacy George Michael tour and last but not least from the show The Cruise the lovely Jane McDonald will perform her Anniversary Tour.

Enjoy the remainder of the good weather, snow will not be far away
