A vibrant gig here full of swing music, comedy and pure energy from this high-end live band attraction, guesting for a week here at The Fringe.
I had the absolute pleasure of attending this for my second Fringe show and as an opportunity to write my very first review for UK Cabaret. The Jive Aces perform a 1950’s swing band style of material, with a delightful comedic edge.
This show took place in a lecture hall, creating just the right kind of intimate atmosphere, which produced lively crowd interaction and spirited singalongs.
During the entire performance the band delivered great music with unrelenting energy, blending musical brilliance with a playful sense of humour that showcased The Jive Aces and their unique character completely. Their ability to combine high-energy musicianship with light-hearted fun made the experience both entertaining and memorable.
The Jive Aces created an engaging and vibrant performance which captures the whole essence of truly and completely live musicianship and entertainment.
Along with six male live musicians and glamorous Italian lady Grazia on accordion, the whole Jive Aces line-up was completed by an appearance from the sultry songstress from Sussex, Noelle Vaughn.
