Ted Hill- 100 Percent Normal
Studio 4: Assembly- George Square Studios

Five Stars
Comedian Ted Hill is a lumpen red-haired guy with an individualist line in dress sense. Mr Hill at first seemed puzzlingly lacking in stage skills. It soon became abundantly clear that Ted Hill is one hundred percent normal.
The genesis of the act is proving his own statement, which this man attempts with the aid of graphs multi-media and an effigy representing his twin brother who he claims to have eaten whilst still in their mother’s womb.
After opening his appearance by lip-synching the opening segment of material and engaging with the audience via a pre-programmed computer keyboard, I soon realised that just about anything could happen. I could just see Mr Hills assisting Suzy Dent in dictionary corner on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Being totally frank I have seen weirder!
The on-screen graphs purport to track the progress of the show and its predicted ups and downs, in terms of audience participation emotional impact and the pre-requisite laughter quotient.
Ted Hills may or may not be normal, whatever ‘normal’ is, but is he funny? The answering is Oh Yes, Absolutely! Memories of facts about Falcons and apparently crucial information on the depth of collective emotion from any audience will stay with me.
I came away proudly adorned in my ‘Falcon Facts stickers’. Despite all we saw and heard, Mr Hills claim that everyone has elephants in their rooms, there are just many types of elephants, is so true. After all of that, I left the venue and suddenly the world returned to being rather mundane.
I would advise anyone meeting Ted Hills not to mention autism or obsessive compulsive disorder. I am certain Mr Hills. believes all of this to be one hundred percent normal.
