Sheila Diamond

A SPECIAL REPORT
A bit of fame can’t be bad, especially when the spotlight falls on someone like Sheila Diamond. This Lancashire singing star has proved, beyond any doubt, that Diamonds Are Forever, with a music video which the world has gone nuts about. Mark Ritchie takes up the story.

When a long-standing subscriber and supporter to this publication is all over the national news networks on telly, we would be mad to ignore the story.
Lancashire lass Sheila Diamond has been sparkling, mainly on Clubland stages, with her cracking singing voice and bubbly personality for many years now. This diminutive singing star has received a much-deserved career shot-in-the arm, after a video of her performing a certain type of song in front of an audience of pensioners at a social club in Chorley. Instagram and other platforms latched on and logged on and the number of viewers has almost reached an astonishing half a million.
I first worked in a show with Sheila many moons ago at a venue called Brickcroft Social Club in Rochdale. I thought she was terrific back then and she has shown the world that talent is permanent.
The Mighty Hoopla is said to be the biggest pop festival in the UK and Sheila will be on the bill this year in London.  Ms Diamond will join a bill which also includes the likes of Lily Allen, The Scissor Sisters, Jessie J, Alexandra Burke and another UK Cabaret subscriber, Jane McDonald.
This festival is said to have a huge LGBT following, so we can now speculate whether Sheila will end up with a huge Gay following?
